I met Dr lu, under less than ideal conditions. It was Saturday early morning and I was eating a juju bee (had to be invented by a dentist), and I lost a crown...I drove straight to her office, which was packed with patients. I had an infant in a carrier on one hand,and a tooth in the other hand. It took some doing but she repared my tooth, and I have been smiling ever since!!!

I highly recommend Arden Dental Center Dr. Wen Lu in Wheaton. I was unhappy with my previous dentist I needed a second opinion on a crown and stopped here at Arden Dental. Dr. Lu reviewed all my charts, was very thorough in explaining my options so I signed up. She explained to me why my partial didn’t work by my previous dentist. She was professional, personable, and explained everything amazingly well. I also had an excellent cleaning by the hygienist Julie. Nga, explained my insurance matters and went above and beyond for me. I laughed with them every time I came. Really top notch team!!!

I recently had a gum graft procedure done here at Arden Dental. I gave them a 5-star review because they truly earned it. Even before the procedure started the staff there was very accommodating and aware of my nervousness about the situation. My mind was racing with all the worst-case scenarios and Dr. Lu who is very knowledgeable and experienced, was quickly able to explain the plan and listen to my concerns before anything continued. Before I knew it the procedure had started and it wasn’t painful or scary, the whole process was boring more than anything. During my visit, everyone was professional and treated me with respect and I felt well taken care of. Love these guys!! Everyone is soooo nice and helpful! As a Trans man, I’m always a little nervous trying someplace new but these guys were so amazing and made me laugh the whole time. I have had horrible experiences with dentist in the past so absolutely hate going on but they made me feel so comfortable and right at home ❤️ I don’t have dental insurance but they were able to work with me and help me work out a plan I could afford to get the help I need. Will definitely be using these guys again and would highly recommend. Office is super clean and very comfortable vibes and Dr. Lu and her team were so gentle and kind and made sure I knew what was going on at every step 😁 So grateful for them!

I went to see Dr. Lu for my puffy and bleeding gum issues. After a few treatments including bacterial DNA testing, gum surgery, and laser treatment, my periodontal disease has been under control and no more infections. Now with healthy gum tissues, I am ready for some implants and a brand new smile. I had a couple of teeth extracted lately, I had much less bleeding and no pain nor swellings compared to my previous experience at a different dentist. In addition, I’m very impressed with the one-visit crown that really saved a lot of time. They are beautiful, too! Dr. Lu is highly experienced with extensive knowledge in periodontics and implants. She developed staged procedures and treatments catered to my situation. After just a few visits, I have built my complete trust and confidence in her skills and care. I am also fond of the staff at the office, they care about their patients and created a joyful environment for us. They help to ease my anxiety tremendously. This has been a much appreciated pleasant experience. I continue to admire Dr. Lu’s skills. Recently, Dr. Lu performed a dental implant surgery on me. I experienced no pain, no bleeding, nor inflammation and infection afterward. What’s more the entire procedure took less than 30 minutes, which truly impressed me.

I had my “same day” crown replacement done today at Dr. Li’s new Wheaton facility. The team worked together seamlessly with great efficiency. It was a challenge to remove the old crown but Dr. Lu worked carefully not to make any damage. The whole process was done with minimal pain and discomfort and I was able to walk out of the office in the same afternoon. I like the new Wheaton facility. It is homey and relaxing. You can tell the staff put much thought and effort in the decor of the new office. The location is also very convenient and easy to find. I am very please with the experience.

The team at Arden Dental Center was spectacular. I came to see Dr. Wen Lu because I thought a crown from my front tooth that was over 30 years ago was loose. I went to two other practices for a consultation and Dr. Lu was best to make sure I understood the situation I was having. All those years I thought I was brushing well and apparently I was not. I learned it was not the cap that was loose but it was my tooth! Dr. Lu told me that I had more issues than just the tooth. I have bone loss and periodontics gum disease. Doctor did not feel that an implant would work best for me because of the severity of bone loss. When I went for the first consultation the doctor mentioned most of my teeth are mobile and his diagnosis was to have all the teeth extracted and replace it with dentures. I didn’t like that idea. I want to keep my natural teeth as much as possible. Karolina, my hygienist did a great job treating my perio disease by treating scaling and root planning and managed the probing depth from 7-8 mm to now an average 2-3 mm. I went from predominantly all red (bad) to green (good) probing depth. She did an excellent job with my deep cleaning and educated me on proper brushing techniques, flossing and recommended waterpik and electric toothbrush. It has been a year working with spectacular hygienist Karolina, Dr. Lu, and the whole staff was very supportive and absolutely unbelievable. They did so much for me and told me what I needed to do at homecare and between us all we completed the mission to keep my teeth. I went from giving up just giving me dentures and moving on to keeping my teeth! It was an awesome feeling! If anyone is looking for a dentist with great experience and knowledge this is the practice for you. I love that they never gave up on me! She pointed out what contributed to these problems that none of my previous dentists were able to. She and her team are very knowledgeable, professional, yet down to earth. I absolutely love this place. I was looking for a good dentist and hadn’t received dental care in over 2 years before this….the staff was extremely professional and concise. Invisalign vs Smile Direct. Invisalign treatment is the winner! You really have no idea what is all involved with moving your teeth around! You need to have the skills and experience of Dr. Lu and Jenny who have had some true challenges with my teeth. While I have crowns and an implant, my bite was off plus I was grinding my teeth so much I was popping my crowns off! You pay your one price and are able to keep going back for as many visits that is needed until your teeth are all set. Smile Direct offers none of the personal expertise that is needed. How can you do major changes and not even see a dentist? Two and a half years later I'm so very happy with my outcome! What a professional team at Arden Dental! If I could leave 10+ stars I would. Over the years, and I'm not going to tell how many, I've been to several different practices. Many of which are friendly enough. Mostly the ones that take my insurance. Arden dental and Dr. Wen Lu are not only super friendly and caring, they are so knowledgeable and up to date. They are able to take images of every individual tooth and assess the damage. If you need treatment, Dr.Wen will show you why.She will explain what treatments are available. She will explain what each treatment is and how it will affect the overall health and operation of your teeth. She will explain past, present and future treatment.Obviously I need some work done, which I knew. I only went there for a 2nd opinion . I just wish I went there first. As for my insurance, it is what it is. I've done the shopping around and found pricing totally reasonable and comparative. I've already recommended Arden dental to everyone I know. Thank you Dr.Wen Lu for recognizing and helping me maintain my overall health. I've truly never met anyone so knowledgeable and caring. It all makes sense. 🤗 Update: Dr. Lu installed my implants today and I can't thank her enough. They are perfect. Really and truly perfect. As everyone is different, I would say my situation was difficult. I had nerves in all the wrong places, bone loss and most of all I'm a rather petite person. With all of this, Dr Lu was precise and patient. Even with all the drooling ,finger licking, and space barely large enough to work in. Dr Lu made sure I was always comfortable. Dr. Lu is a true perfectionist who guided me through the whole process. From knowing the correct size for strong, stable and lasting implants to x-rays and measuring, insuring proper and precise placement. Thank you so much Dr. Lu. It really is life changing and you got me through it all.

I love Dr. Lu!! I just turned 80 and had beautiful cosmetic dental work done years ago. Unfortunately over the years, many teeth had developed deep cavities and had to be pulled. All the doctors I consulted advised me to have all-on-4. I was shocked and devastated. After extensive search for an experienced, caring and well-qualified implant dentist to care for me, I found Dr. Wen Lu. I was very impressed during our initial consultation. She is knowledgeable, professional, well-spoken, and personal. About 3 weeks ago, she pulled out 14 teeth, placed 9 implants, and gave me an even better-looking smile just over 2 visits. I traveled far to see her and was worried about pain after the surgery. I had a slight swelling on my gum around 1 implant where she put some bone graft but no pain at all. I was able to eat anything softer in texture like risotto, pastas, and fish as usual. Very pleased and amazed with the results! She is the BEST!!

I have been coming to Dr. Lu almost since her office has opened and after she helped me with my emergency wisdom teeth removal, which unfortunately even after having braces as a kid had caused a lot of crowding in all of my lower teeth, I had made the decision to get Invisalign because I was no longer happy with the appearance of my smile and it was actually causing mouth pain due to shifting and my back molars had moved inward. That being said, I knew it was going to be a difficult case using clear aligners and not metal braces, but due to my job, having braces like when I was teenager just wasn’t an option. I chose the unlimited plan with Clear Correct, thankful for it since I had 4 revisions and 49 trays total. We had started pre-covid so going through the process when COVID began was much more difficult then normal but Dr.Lu and Jennie were always there for me even with the frustration of delays and necessary revisions. They helped me all the way until the last tooth was moved exactly how I wanted it. I’m very happy I went through the process and highly recommend to anyone who wants perfect teeth! She truly cares for her patients’ health, spends time to evaluate each patient and has a long-term treatment plan. I met Dr lu, under less than ideal conditions. It was Saturday early morning and I was eating a juju bee (had to be invented by a dentist), and I lost a crown...I drove straight to her office, which was packed with patients. I had my first major dental work done here - a root canal on my 2nd to last molar - and they made it as pleasant as possible for me. Even when I’m pain late at night, Dr. Lu was still responding to me through their text messaging service that made me feel like I was being taken care of 100% of the way. I always felt like they were on top of everything. Everyone was very knowledgeable - from explaining my issues, the process of a root canal, to Mary Beth laying out all my Financial options and Jessica squeezing me in when my temporary cap came off. I knew every option I had available to me and I was able to make the best decision with the help of them. Not only do they fix issues, they also made sure to give me a game plan to keep me out of pain and in the chair for only cleanings. I mean they even let me connect my personal AirPods to the movie being played throughout my procedure - they did everything they could and made me feel extremely comfortable and safe - talk about patient care!!

I was desperate when I called them to inquire about getting in sooner than my appointment scheduled for next week. They were so kind, understand, and accommodating and squeezed me in the same day. Turned out, my tooth was in much worse shape then I thought and Dr. Lu explained I needed to have it pulled. She made certain that I was not in any pain, explained everything to me, and could not have been better. Update: I had my very first root canal performed on Saturday and what an experience! I was terrified going in but, they eased my nerves and gave me 5 star treatment. After being seated in my chair, I was given a pillow, headphones, and they turned on a movie/tv show of my picking. I started to get so last in the show that I almost forgot I was getting the root canal lol. It is now Monday, and they were caring enough to give me a call to see how I was doing since the procedure. It's the little things that count!! I enjoyed my appointment today for my 6 month cleaning. The hygienist was wonderful and very friendly and Jenny was great with helping out with my following appointments and going over all of the costs with me for future appointments.

Best Dentist in Bloomingdale. Expert work and clearly explains treatment options. I had a very tricky filling to address and she did an excellent job repairing it. My teeth are healthier and brighter than ever. As time has gone by I noticed that I was having trouble with food sticking more easily to my teeth. It was embarrassing and I thought there was nothing that could be done. That's when I was introduced to a product they carry called MiPaste. The MiPaste product helps rebuild tooth enamel. After a short time my teeth were no longer as porous as they were and food was not sticking to my teeth. Plus, with the extra calcium, my teeth are whiter than ever.

After my first consultation with Dr. Lu at Arden Dental Center I am convinced I found the right place! Update: I had my very first root canal performed on Saturday and what an experience! I was terrified going in but, they eased my nerves and gave me 5 star treatment. After being seated in my chair, I was given a pillow, headphones, and they turned on a movie/tv show of my picking. I started to get so last in the show that I almost forgot I was getting the root canal lol. It is now Monday, and they were caring enough to give me a call to see how I was doing since the procedure. It's the little things that count!! I enjoyed my appointment today for my 6 month cleaning. The hygienist was wonderful and very friendly and Jenny was great with helping out with my following appointments and going over all of the costs with me for future appointments.

<p>My last appointment was a long one, five hours, but it was worth it. Dr Lu and her team pretty much do it all and do it well. My new bridge/crown appliance fits perfectly. I also had an implant inserted during the same appointment. I expect to have a beautiful new replacement tooth when the surgery heals. <p>I have been having problems with my teeth since 2004. I had a dentist that took care of some of my problems. He did a new bridge because my canine tooth kept getting irritated and painful. After they worked on that problem for some time, I continued to have problems. After I moved to Sycamore, I went to see another dentist for a second opinion, because I got sick and it was difficult to make the long trip back to my previous dentist. This dentist said that I needed to have the canine removed and maybe put in a cap to correct the problem. I said I would get back to him, but I never went back to him. I then called my previous dentist and told him I was still having the same problems and he had me come to his office the next day to see what was happening. He then said that I had too much stress in my life and that I also had sinus problems which complicated the issue, and I responded that my stress was because my husband was in and out of the hospital, and I knew whether my sinuses were bothering me, and asked why I still had the same problems, so I just continued to return for my annual cleanings and after a cleaning in 2013, I asked to speak to the dentist, and the assistant told me that he had just retired.</p><p>Also during this time, I had been taking one or two Tylenol every night to help me try and get some sleep. I then saw Dr. Lu in her office to begin with her as my new dentist in February of 2014. I went to her for a consultation because I was experiencing great pain in both of my left and right upper molars and my upper front bridge. I explained to her all my problems and dental history and after many X-rays, she then determined and showed me what she would be able to do for me. After a couple of months with no improvement, she recommended that I see Dr. Chon for a second opinion and to have 3D X-rays taken to see exactly which tooth was causing all my problems. He repaired the problems with my bridge and performed root canal therapy on tooth #5. I then returned to Dr. Lu for three months to work on the pain and to have her make a new bridge for me. She then a put a cap on number 15 (I think) on the left upper back and completes work on me and I can now say that I have no pain, and can sleep with no pain meds. At this point, I recommend Dr. Lu as a FIVE STAR dentist….so far so good….I also want to compliment her assistants, Pearl, Evelyn and James for their positive attitudes. Your entire atmosphere and your very special desk receptionist altogether make it a pleasure to visit you. </p>

Dr. Lu returned my call even though the office was closed that Friday due to installation of new equipment. She let me know to call her cell if it was an emergency or I was in discomfort. I was fine to wait until they returned on Monday where she was able to see me at 10:30am. When I arrived, the receptionist had my name in the system and was expecting me. A quick filling, and I am back to normal! I was really impressed with Dr. Lu's personal responsiveness. I appreciated her call back and follow through. I feel that she and her staff went over and above my expectations, and could not have been happier!!!<br></p>

She printe out the dental plan offered from their office an all that it has to offer, too. Pearl and Dr. Lu were also very kind, and gave me all the information that I should ever need for the dental work that I sorely need. They explained what their plan is and why they have that plan. They obviously truly care about their patients dental needs now and in the future. Dr. Lu kept stressing that she was taking her time so she could try to preserve my bone for the bridge that I will need. I had a no pain for discomfort during my tooth extraction. When I got home I had a little pain but not bad enough to need any painkillers. I took a nap for a couple of hours and when I got up I had no pain at all! I believe that Dr. Lu is the best dentist that I have ever had, and I reccommend her to anyone in this area. Thank you so much Dr. Lu and everyone in your office, too! <br></p>

<p>I've had root canals and teeth extractions before. They weren't bad ... but with Dr. Lu, my comfort level was much improved. Bright dental lights bother you? They give you sunglasses. Worried about pain? There was none to worry about. And I'm usually not very good about THAT. For the first time, I just relaxed, enjoyed the music ... and even snapped my fingers to the beat, at times. The crown placement process is kind of amazing. All techy things aside, it was the best fit I've ever experienced. And I don't have to deal with that cracked tooth any longer. And kudos to Lisa for the many years of great "dental hygienist" experiences for my entire family!<br></p>
